Terms of Use

These terms cover the game Sabeel: The Awakening and playsabeel.com. By creating a family account you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not create an account.

Who may make an account

• An account is made by an adult, 18 or older, who is the parent or guardian of the children who will play.
• You are responsible for your family's account and for the players on it, up to five.
• You sign in with a code we send to your email address or phone. Keep your email, your phone and your parent PIN to yourself. The PIN is what stops a child changing who they play with.

Children

• Children play under your account. They never make one of their own, and we never ask a child for a real name, school or city.
• What we keep about you and your children, and what we cannot see at all, is set out in our Privacy Policy, which is part of what you agree to.
• You decide whether your child plays with others, and with whom.

Using Sabeel

• We give you and your family a personal licence to play Sabeel on your own devices. It is not for resale and not for business use.
• Do not copy, change or take apart the game, cheat in it, or get in the way of other families playing.
• Do not use a username that is rude, that is a real full name, or that pretends to be someone else. We may change or remove a username that breaks this.

Playing with others

• Co-op is off until you turn it on, and your child plays only with children whose parent and you have both approved.
• Children cannot type to each other. They choose from fixed phrases.
• If something goes wrong, remove the friend in Parent Settings and write to us at admin@playsabeel.com.
• We may switch off co-op for a player, or close an account, where it is used to hurt or harass another family or to break these terms.

What is ours

• Sabeel, its world, art, words, sound and code belong to Insane Advancements LLC or to those who licensed them to us. These terms give you no ownership of any of it.
• If you send us an idea or a comment, we may use it without owing you anything.

What Sabeel teaches

Sabeel teaches children the daily practice of Islam in a general way. It does not answer a question about a particular family's situation; for that, ask a scholar you trust.

Test builds

Before Sabeel is released, families may be given test builds. A test build can change, stop working, or lose a child's progress, and we may end the test at any time.

Paying

Sabeel is free during testing. When a subscription is offered it is bought through the Apple App Store or Google Play, behind a parent gate; those stores take the payment, and their terms cover billing, renewal and refunds. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.

Ending

• You can stop at any time, and delete a player or your whole account as our Privacy Policy describes.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where we can, we write to you first.

No promises we cannot keep

We work to keep Sabeel running and safe, but it is provided as it is, and we do not promise it will always be available or free of faults. To the extent the law allows, Insane Advancements LLC is not liable for losses that come from using Sabeel or from not being able to use it.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States.

Apple and Google

• These terms are between you and Insane Advancements LLC, not Apple or Google. We, not they, are responsible for Sabeel and for answering any claim about it.
• Apple and Google have no duty to maintain or support Sabeel. Where you got Sabeel from the App Store, your licence is limited to Apple devices you own or control, under the App Store's own rules.
• Apple and its subsidiaries may enforce these terms against you as they apply to the App Store version of Sabeel.

Changes, and getting in touch

If these terms change, the new version is posted here with a new date, and where a change matters to your family we ask you again in the game. Questions go to admin@playsabeel.com or to Insane Advancements LLC at the address above.
